Frequently asked questions

What is the quality guarantee promise?

        All our food is prepared freshly on order by qualified chefs in our semi open kitchen. We promise to keep your experience above your                         expectation, however if we fall short, please let us know as soon as possible. Our friendly staff will be happy to replace or refund your order. 

        This may not be applicable on carry out or delivery orders. However, please talk to a member of our service staff.


What is the difference between north and south Indian food?

        Most Indian restaurants in the UK follow a set menu, which is predominantly derived from north Indian dishes. You’ll find lots of breads and              curries in the north and the spice mix is unique to the region.

        South Indian dishes are different in taste and more rice and lentil based. You will find more vegetarian options in our south Indian menu.


Is your food Halal?

        Yes, we are halal certified, however on minimum of 1-day notice, we can prepare non-halal for a group or party.

 

Is it a licenced restaurant?

        Yes, we are licensed to serve wine, beer, sprits, and liquors.We are also fully licenced and follow health and food safety regulations

 

Do you accept BYOB?  Are there any corkage fees?

        Yes, we do accept BYOB, but WINE ONLY with no corkage charges. However, we do accept beer and spirit on Sunday-Thursday by                             request for group booking.

 

Do you sell alcohol?

        Yes, we do. Please check our drinks menu here. We have a range of selected wine, spirits and beers including the Indian favourites Cobra and             Kingfisher.

 

Are you vegan-friendly?

         Yes, we do have more options for vegans. Our menu got lot of south Indian favourites like dosa, idly and uthappom on top of vegetarian curries.           Please see our vegan menu or look for the green mark from A la carte menu.

 

Do you do gluten-free menu?

         80% dishes from our menu are gluten-free. If you are allergenic, we advise you to let us know before ordering. We would be happy to serve                 you 100% gluten-free food.

 

Do you use any artificial colours or flavours?

          We never use any added FLAVOURS or COLOURS, we believe in the authentic taste and not to compromise on quality.  


Do you provide wheelchair/disabled access?

          Yes. we have wheelchair access to our ground level restaurant. As we have limited 10 seats on the ground level, we suggest you book in                       advance and let us know you need wheelchair access.

 

Do you have a baby change facility?

         Yes, we do have baby changing inside the restaurant.

 

Do we need to book a table in advance?

        We strongly suggest you book your table online or by phone to avoid any disappointment.

 

Do you accept group booking?

        Yes, we do large groups, please talk to a member of staff  or use contact us form.

 

Whom do I do contact for outdoor catering?

        Please fill in the contact us form with date/time, location, number of people and your phone number. We will get back to you as soon as

        possible. Alternatively, you can talk to a member of staff.


Is there any option for arranging a function or party?

        Yes, we are happy to host birthday/wedding parties, corporate meetings and other parties. We can accommodate up to 50 guests at our                     basement dining area and can arrange entertainment including DJ. Please note that we are unable to take any bookings for Friday and

        Saturday evenings.

 

TAKEAWAY AND DELIVERY

     

How long I have to wait for a takeaway?

         It normally takes 15 to 20 minutes, during rush hour it may take up to 30 minutes. The wait depends on the size of the order so large orders               may take more than 30 minutes. For home delivery its 45-60min.We sometimes face unexpected delays due to heavy traffic, Bad                               weather or when  the restaurant is fully occupied (usually on Fridays and Saturdays between 7-8 p.m.). We advise you to allow more time                  during these periods. Please note that all timings are indicative and not guaranteed.


How do I get missing item replaced from my takeout/home delivery order?

         We aim to be accurate with our orders but in case if we miss any items, please call us on 0131 555 5505 and we can deliver the missing item           to  you as soon as possible if within 3-miles radius. If not, we will be happy to refund.


What if I am allergic to some ingredients?

         We strongly suggest you let us know over phone once you placed the order via web platforms. It's important to let us know verbally to make               sure all sauces and garnishes are free from allergic ingredient.



How should I make a complaint or suggestions?

         Complaints can be made through our Manager or Contact us form. We are committed to improve our food and service based on your feedback.
